Romantic Eastern Shore Estate Wedding
You know those love stories that are so sweet they could basically be a novel? Like, for instance, growing up alongside your Groom and marrying him years later in the backyard of your childhood home - which is exactly what Kari Rider Events helped this duo do. Krista A. Jones captured the day filled with love and blooms by Monteray Farms. Not a detail was spared and you can see even more romance here.
From The Bride...I always knew that I wanted to get married at my childhood home! Family is a HUGE part our relationship. Our grandparents grew up with each other, our parents grew up with each other, and we even grew up with each other. It's true -- the save-the-date even featured a picture of us when I was 18-months-old and Brian was 3-years-old. The day of the wedding the weather was sunny and breezy! After a year of planning we had prayed for perfect weather and God certainly answered.
The ceremony took place in front of Fishing Creek as its backdrop, cocktail hour was around the infinity pool with signature rum punch and our reception was underneath the pole tent hung with lanterns. Probably the most memorable part of the night was my father-daughter dance. The song was a surprise. Just before my father gave a speech, recalling that his choice was made long before I was born. It was "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle; however, he had my little sister sing and record it.
Halfway through, my little brother came onto the dance floor with me. Being surrounded by everyone was exactly what we wanted at the end of the night when we lit wish lanterns off into the sky. The perfect ending to a perfect day.
