From Graham Terhune Photography…Julianne and Taylor are New York City residents who decided to celebrate their wedding in a place very dear to both of their hearts, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. When deciding on a location, Julianne and Taylor wanted their wedding to feel authentically “them.” Thus, they chose to get ready in one of their favorite spots, The Carolina Inn and they held their ceremony and reception at the Cotton Room in Durham. Both places were perfect for the couple. The Carolina Inn provided the classic, Chapel Hill feel and allowed both Julianne and Taylor to get ready with their friends, and then hold their first look and portraits in such a beautiful space. Julianne and Taylor chose the Cotton Room for their ceremony and reception because it felt lofty and like their cozy apartment in NYC. Julianne and Taylor’s wedding day was full of joy, laughter, friendship and compassion. We were blown away by the calm nature of both the bride and the groom – they were completely about soaking in the day and the special commitment between one another. We think that both Julianne and Taylor were radiant on their wedding day.
