Autumn Al Fresco Bridal Shower

Now that our bellies are stuffed with turkey and our hearts full of thanks, we’re holding on to the last bits of autumn before winter hits the scene. And what better way to savor the season than a bridal shower centered on just that. It’s an outdoor gathering of girlfriends coordinated by Candice Beaty and blooms by Rebekah Clark Moody. From Kathryn McCraryWith fall in full swing, crisp colors and warm afternoons are to be cherished and savored. Candice Beaty (of Chancey Charm Weddings) used this as an excuse to pull together some of her favorite vendors and create an autumn themed bridal shower. Using ruby reds, cozy sweaters and the ever-lovable golden delicious apple as her inspiration, she styled the photo shoot to be carefree and intimate so that no maid of honor or bridesmaid would feel threatened to throw a similar shower for their bride-to-be.

American Threads provided the girls with fun and casual fall clothes that Molly Webb used to style the girls effortlessly. Claudia Mejerle topped off the looks with soft makeup and flowy hair to give the girls a polished yet fresh look for the shower.

Beautifully customized place settings (by Jenn Gietzen) adorned with an apple favor welcomed the girls into a yummy luncheon in the autumn daylight. Crisp bourbon cocktails, delectable plum and apple treats after a scrumptious and yummy feast (from Heirloom Café and Shae Rehmel of home.made catering) all filled the guests tummies as they laughed together.

Breathtaking florals (by Rebekah Clark Moody) dreamily captured the essence of fall’s warmth in a natural way. A stunning fabric hanging (another Jenn Gietzen stunner) with a quote to celebrate their friendships was the perfect addition to an already gorgeous ivy backdrop. Kathryn McCrary was able to capture all of the gorgeous details of the day and the celebration of the shower to showcase all of the wonderful inspiration for the autumn themed bridal shower.

Jenn’s banner reads “You’re pretty much my most favorite of all time in the history of ever”, which perfectly sums up how all of these vendors feel about this day spent together creating this beautiful fall photo shoot.
