Rustic Vancouver Food Truck Wedding
A farm style reception filled with food trucks like Le Tigre, Outpost Mini Donuts, and Tacofino sounds like a dream come true to me! Followed by a cozy residential cocktail hour, this wedding has all the necessities of a fabulous evening. Seamlessly planned by Epic Events with blooms by Twig Florals, this affair shot by Sweet Heirloom Photography is a gallery wish fulfilled.
From Epic Events...Naomi and Gavin chose to have a laid-back, super chic, garden party to celebrate their love! Naomi spend countless hours curating the perfect touches and details for their wedding. From Etsy to BHDLN, no details forgotten. They started their day with 200 guests joining them for a lunch time ceremony and reception at London Heritage Farms. Guests were welcomed by a custom watercolor guest book painting that was created by friends of the bride. Guests were encouraged to write their names on the colorful bunting.
After a personalized ceremony conducted by a long-time friend of the family, Pastor Mark Johnson, guests were treated to games and lunch in the gardens of the farm. Food trucks hold a special place in Naomi and Gavin's heart. While they were dating, they were working a few buildings apart in downtown Vancouver. They would regularly meet for lunch and pick a food truck to visit and find some steps to sit on to eat. It was an obvious choice when selecting a lunch time caterer to pick for their favorite food trucks and serve their favorite dishes to their guests. So after picking up their fresh, local food, guests sat on picnic blankets in the shade or at picnic tables to enjoy!
In the evening, Naomi and Gavin had a more intimate cocktail dinner for their immediate friends and family at Gavin's parents beautiful private residence. Under patio lighting, guests were treated to a fully catered reception. Lanterns lit the way around the garden and they had provided a beautiful (and delicious!) dessert buffet with cozy places to sit and enjoy the food and music.
