Vintage Glam Winnipeg Wedding
Sometimes I look at a wedding and I feel like my heart is going to come out of my chest. This is just such a wedding. Every sweet detail, every image from Moore Photography and every look between this (ridiculously good looking) Bride and Groom makes my heart sing. As this gorgeous Bride put it, "what's more beautiful than two people in love?" I can't think of much. See even more here.
From The Bride...I can now understand why people say your wedding is one of the best days of your life. What is more beautiful than 2 people in love? Kevin and I met in high school at the young ages of 15 and 17 years old. I have to say I feel so lucky to have been able to grow and experience life with him from such a young age. Seeing Kev at the end of the aisle and being surrounded by the most important people in our lives could not have made my heart more happy. The day was perfect from start to finish and we truly would not have changed anything.
Our wedding vision was vintage-glam. I have always had a love for all things vintage and find things like this intriguing. Kev and I started the hunt for the perfect antique items as soon as we got engaged. We picked out the typewriter, old books, watering can, dresser etc. to make our vision come to life while still adding in sparkly and glittery touches whenever we could! (There is never enough sparkle!). Our ceremony was held at an old cathedral style church with a stunning red carpet aisle and the reception took place at an ultra modern venue in Assiniboine Park with glass windows from the floor to the ceiling. My dress was purchased at Kleinfeld and designed by the amazing Pnina Tornai. Lucky me, it was her trunk show that weekend so I actually got fitted and measured by the designer herself! (such a cool experience!). Everything fell into place and Kev and I truly had the wedding of our dreams!
