Afternoon Sip and Savor with Nespresso VertuoLine
Everyday around 3 o'clock, it seems like the world slows down just a bit. Perhaps a little too much. Solution? Coffee. Obviously. But not just any coffee. A Nespresso maple cinnamon coffee with a few chocolate covered almonds and maybe a handful of sea salt popcorn. Something so good, that it instantly reenergizes you so the mountain of a to-do list you've been staring at starts to look like a cinch.
For our afternoon Nespresso VertuoLine moment we used our favorite color machine - the black beauty - to craft two of our most scrumptious recipes: a classic cappuccino and that maple cinnamon coffee we were just gushing about. Using the Aeroccino+ to froth our milk, we made straight from the café tasting beverages, that were so quick, simple and completely delicious - well, it's sort of like we cheated. We brought in a bit of sunshine with some fresh cut garden flowers, a sparkly new notebook and a few yummy snacks for a much needed pick-me-up.
Taking an afternoon time-out to craft a moment like this might sound excessive. But guess what? It's so worth it. With mere minutes of your time - seconds if you're simply brewing a delicious afternoon cappuccino and ditching the flowers - you get this little respite from all of the chaos. It's a 3pm Nespresso VertuoLine break to recharge, regroup and tackle the rest of your day with all out gusto.
Maple Cinnamon Coffee
1 capsule Melozio coffee
4 oz. milk
1 oz. maple syrup
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbs. brown sugar

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, maple syrup and cinnamon. Whisk until all have combined. Continue until brown sugar has dissolved and milk is heated through and foaming. Pour into VertuoLine recipe glass, and pour coffee onto the milk mixture.
Note: For an even sweeter and gourmet taste, add 1 tbs brown sugar into the milk mixture.
