Colorful Santa Barbara Wedding
Although fall is in full swing, this vibrant soiree has me dreaming of those sweet days of summer. Full of vintage finds and quirky colors, this relaxed yet incredibly elegant day captured by Jessica Fairchild is what weddings with personality are all about. From the poppy blooms by Juniper Presence to the delicious eats by Santa Barbara Gourmet, and you can soak up all the fun right over here.
From Wild Heart Events...When I first met Emily and Jared they were exuding style and I couldn't wait to see what kind of attire and decor they had in mind for their big day. Emily dressed her maids in super fun grey tulle dresses from Anthropologie, completing the look with hot pink wedges and colorful statement necklaces! Emily, herself donned a J Crew wedding dress, with Badgley Mischka shoes, a beautiful sash, colorful flowers and a killer hair-do by Sara Jackson of Salon U (check out the subtle crimping!). To compliment the ladies, the men wore grey suits and hot pink gingham ties, while the groom sported a coral colored gingham shirt, and matching polka dot tie. The grey, pink and orange color scheme was so bright and fun, yet completely fashionable and cool!
In terms of decor, Emily had told me that her family had a bunch of antiques and collectables she wanted to incorporate. We were blown away by the vintage tea cart and tea sets, trunks, old clocks and other trinkets. We styled these pieces right at the entrance into the park, setting the tone for their rustic, vintage affair. Jared and Emily were very hands on, crafting custom lawn games, burlap silverware holders and other fun details scattered throughout their reception. They were were such a fun and stylish couple to work with!
