If I could sprinkle bits of gold on everything, I would do just that. It’s my belief that gold accents make everything better. But combined with black, and we’ve reached a whole new level. This elegant affair at the Southwest School Art is pure style, and has me reconsidering my own wedding color palette. Christine Sargologos snapped every chic detail, all available for your Pinterest pleasure right this way.
From Christine Sargologos Photography… Callyn & Eric are so easy going and relaxed, with an obvious and enormous love for each other. It meant the entire day was full of sweet little moments and tons of laughter. Both ceremony and reception were at the Southwest School of Art, a former convent with plenty of San Antonio heritage. With that backdrop they added a classic ivory, gold and black palette, along with playful fiesta-themed touches as homage to the city; the perfect balance of elegance and party. Guests loved the the mariachi band and table numbers, and the sombreros and paper floral crowns that were given as party favors. Dinner was served under the vaulted ceilings of the former chapel. The French Connection beautifully transformed the space so guests dined at vintage church pews in candlelight. Of course, nothing is more memorable than the dance party that followed. I think it’s safe to say everyone made it to the floor for at least a song or two. There’s nothing better than a celebration that blends sweetness, romance and a little silliness!
