When you plan a “secret garden” wedding smack dab in the middle of the city, pretty things happen. Just take this New York City love affair captured by the amazing Caroline Frost and Tweed Weddings. It’s an urban “I do” infused with loads of natural elements – plus some seriously pretty invites by Kimberly Fitzsimons – and we’ve got each and every moment just waiting to be swooned.

From The Bride…I always had a vision of a secret garden ceremony, but we also both loved the idea of a city wedding. We got engaged in Madison Square Park, so getting married in one of our other favorite parks overlooking the urban landscape of midtown Manhattan with the backdrop of the New York Public Library was the absolute perfect fit. We wanted everything to have a natural feel but also be a little fun and quirky, and our amazing florist captured our vision perfectly with lush greens and blues and fun pops of coral.
One of my favorite memories of the day was our first look outside the beautiful ivy covered entrance of the Bryant Park Grill, and being completely in the moment while the bustle of the city was happening all around us. What really made our day special was having our friends and family by our side the entire time. From trying to take portraits on 5th Avenue with 9 bridesmaids and groomsmen to watching our wedding singer get tossed in the air while performing, we truly had an amazing time and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing.
