Classic Charleston Wedding with Shades of Pink
There is nothing I love more than a little Southern Charm, and this wedding is a timeless example of just that. From the heartfelt monograms to the peony filled bouquets by Branch Design Studio, Caroline Ro was there to snap every striking detail and trust me when I say you won't want to miss the swoon-worthy gallery here.
From Caroline Ro...Ashley and Jason's wedding was one for the books! When I met them in Savannah at a private plantation months earlier in which they included their two dogs and bunny (a cat hs been added since), I knew their wedding would be a hit!
My favorite part about the day was how involved both sides of the family were. I met both Ashley and Jason's mom at their engagement session and loved how you could tell they had already hit it off as friends.
Come the wedding, the two were just as involved and excited. Jason's mom monogrammed everything you see and worked relentless to make sure it all looked perfect. Ashley's mom had a huge hand over so many of the design elements, making sure everything came together perfectly as she was in Charleston while Ashley and Jason were in Savannah.
And when it came time for me to arrive on the wedding day, Ashley was beyond ready! She had all her details perfectly laid out and had sent items over to Jason's for the same. And although the two and their families cared about details, I could tell they also cared about straight up having fun! Their first dance surprised everyone as a perfectly executed ball room dance (smooth, not stiff and practiced) and then when they both got on stage toward the end of the night to sing the night away. How can you ask for a better couple?
