There is nothing I love more than a fresh and beautiful DIY and this wedding shoot from French Knot Studios and Izzy Hudgens Photography has done not only that (the embroidery hoop centerpiece is to die for) but continued the fab in a shoot inspired by the beauty of Georgia. And it is perfect.
From French Knot Studios… Georgia is known for peaches, but it’s also known for cotton, peanuts, and honey. With these products as our inspiration, we created some romantic ideas. Ruffled flowers, hues of burgundy and peach, and a sweet tea bar are just a few of the lovely elements. A hanging centerpiece of embroidery hoops with handmade paper and lush florals doubles as a fun prop for portraits. Honeycomb hexagons line the aisle, and make perfect garnish skewers for the iced tea. You can also include the hexagon with the wedding invite for guests to send back with well wishes written in. Then line the aisle with all the sweet thoughts from your loved ones. Gold gilded packages with long satin ribbons decorate a pile of presents. A decadent vanilla wedding cake covered in whipped peanut butter icing and topped with fresh, local honeycomb is the perfect way to end the evening. With a beautiful view of Savannah’s historic skyline, the Westin’s gazebo and crisp lawn is a delightful venue for weddings.
