We chose Calamigos Ranch because in our opinion it had the perfect combination of outdoors but with still a traditional modern vibe. It didn’t feel “country” to us it felt elegant and offered a venue where we could be surrounded by the outdoors. It is so gorgeous there we knew from the second we stepped foot on their grounds that Calamigos is where our wedding would be. We wanted a small informal wedding with just our closest friends and family. It felt so intimate. I went with a rustic chic theme and tried to keep the colors very light and neutral. My colors were ivory, cream, and blush pink.I just wanted our wedding to be fun and not feel too stuffy. My dresses were ordered from China, they were $300 a piece and the wedding dress website was inweddingdress.com I had originally bought a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta wedding dress but I just wasn’t crazy about it so one night I got online and ordered the two dresses I wore at the wedding. They arrived 3 days prior and I just loved them. For my jewelry I wore diamond stud earrings as my something old. My grandmother gave them to me and they were the first piece of jewelry my now passed grandfather had ever gifted my grandmother. So special.
