Fun and Colorful Louisiana Outdoor Wedding
Any wedding with a little southern flair is sure to get my heart racing, and this celebration is filled with just that. It's infused with personality from start to finish and Arte De Vie was behind the lens to capture every splendid moment. Bet you won't be able to take your eyes off this whimsy-loving gallery.
From Arte De Vie...I’ve always said that our couples from Houma or Thibodaux always know how to throw the best parties, and I think Caley and Robbie may have just upped the bar! Caley grew up in one of the oldest homes in Houma, and the grounds were already perfect for her Southern wedding with the old, stately Oaks covering the front lawn which served as the cocktail hour, along with games of Jenga and Cornhole. But they took it a step further and cleared out some old buildings behind the house to make room for the giant event tent so they had the perfect setting for the Bucktown Allstars to help them party into the night!
Caley is a definitely a person of detail, and she made sure to fill her wedding with fun, as well as personal, details. I just loved all the cowboy boots as well, and that has to be one of the most epic shoe shots I’ve done to date! I also really love the dramatic shot of the newlyweds as they started to make their way down the aisle after saying I Do, as the light just washed through the stained glass. The sun couldn’t have been more cooperative on their 2nd Line as well, providing a gorgeous golden rim light on them, as well as turning the calm bayou water in more of a reflecting pond as all the guests made their way behind the Treme Brass Band. The day was an absolutely perfect one, and we couldn’t be happier for two of the sweetest people you could hope to meet!
