Classic Southern Wedding at Edisto Island

When it comes to beachy springtime weddings, I’m a firm believer that less is more. It’s the approach this bride and groom took with a host of whitewashed details paired with subtle nautical stylings. And the stunning florals by Ooh! Events? Don’t even get me started. Sean Money + Elizabeth Fay snapped the church ceremony to the seaside reception, and there’s so much more in the gallery right here.

From the Bride…When Hunter and I got engaged we knew Edisto would be the perfect place for our wedding. The casual elegance of the Island is breathtaking and it didn’t take much to set the stage for a spectacular weekend. From day one we knew we wanted it be a weekend long party with our most favorite family and friends and we were so lucky to have all of our loved ones and amazing vendors make our dream wedding a reality. From the sun setting over our rehearsal dinner; to the 80 person beach party before the wedding; to the amazing arrangements and coconut cake made by the groom’s mom and the bride’s cousin; to the rocking reception that got everyone on their feet, it was the best and most beautiful weekend of our lives!
