Rustic, Elegant Georgia Wedding at Indigo Falls

I wish I could pinpoint a single detail of this gorgeous day that I love more than the others, but the truth is, I do believe I love every single moment in these stunning images from Rustic White Photography. They paint the picture of a day that was as meaningful as it was beautiful, and that leaves us with a gallery that is almost too good to be true. See what I mean here.

From The Bride…Ben and I first met at TMB where we were both students. We were first introduced at a Christmas Party and later when with a group of friends ice skating and that is when we hit it off. We continues to talk through Christmas and into the new year. We made things “official” after school got back in session and continues to date and get to know each other. After a year of dating Ben proposed to me on my birthday which is New Years Eve after a day of surprises. I would finish school and Ben would have one more year left before he would graduate and we would get married. This past summer we got the opportunity to serve in a church together as interns in Hawaii, which was amazing for us. We both plan on being in ministry in some capacity. We will be moving from Georgia to Texas after the wedding for Ben to continue in school for future ministry.

There are several different parts of our wedding that will make it so special for us. For one, we will both have our hometown Pastors play a part of our ceremony. This truly means so much to Ben and I to have them marry us because they have made a huge impact on each of our lives. Another personal and special touch that we have made to our wedding is that we decided to write our own vows to each other. Truly one of the most special and unique parts of our ceremony will be when Ben and I wash each other’s feet. In the Bible in the book of John verse 13, Jesus washed his disciples feet as a final proof of his love for them. Through this act of love he was setting the example of humility and servanthood. The act of us washing each other’s feet shows the importance of serving one another in a way that glorifies God in our marriage. After, we will have a precious and memorable moment as our wedding party comes and prays over us. A family bible will be used as the ring barriers pillow and photos of loved ones who have passed will be displayed at our reception.
