From Maine Seasons Events...Inspired by the straw ornaments, clean color palette and simplicity of Scandinavian design, Maine Seasons Events created a wedding inspiration shoot with a winter feel. Elements of straw, fir balsam and wood were incorporated with a wintery palette of icy blue, black, red and gray. Custom table runner inspired by a Scandinavian pillow and vintage winter scene red plates set the table with straw ornaments and custom fabric napkin bands.
Cross country skiis, a vintage sled and festive red bouquet hand tied with a crochet wrapped button and fabric wrap accesorize. A traditional winter candle Pyramid adorns the cake display, and when lit, the paddles rotate, causing the wooden animals and people to turn around on the base. Custom cake with sugar pine cone and tassels by Wild Orchid Baking Comapany provide the feeling of a Swedish princess cake with pale icing and detailed sugar adornments.
