Germany Wedding Inspiration: Clean + Classic + Elegant

I am lucky enough to call Germany home, and I don’t take it’s beauty for granted in the least (it’s so gorgeous) but even I was floored by this shoot from Kibogo Photography. Along with a team of ridiculously talented pros, they were able to capture the old world beauty of Deutschland and boil it down to it’s most sincere elements, creating wedding inspiration I fully expect to take over Pinterest!

From Kibogo PhotographyI am so excited to share our wedding inspiration shoot that we did in Germany at the Grandhotel Steigenberger Koenigswinter. The hotel is an elegant and unique spot — located on a mountain called Petersberg and looks like a castle. Its bright and beautiful rooms inspired us to do an elegant wedding inspiration shoot there for local and international brides who are looking for unique locations here in Germany. I gathered a whole bunch of creative people on the boat and we started designing the shoot.

We wanted the wedding inspiration shoot to be clean, clasic, elegant. The color theme was peach/rosé and menthe with silver. Peonies, white flowers, breathtaking stationery and three gowns from Jenny Packham were the highlight on that day! Not to mention that we had the whole presidential suite to get ready and style the bride and groom in! We started with a few getting ready images for the “groom” and a few boudoir images for the “bride” which I totally adore! We then proceeded to shoot some portraits outdoors with an oldtimer (blue Audi) — being oh-so careful with the gown!

While the “bride” changed into another dress I shoot the details of table, stationery, cake, jewellery, rings, cufflings, shoes, bow ties, groom with cake, table of “reception”, and the cake table. Before we headed with the couple to the tables, I took some portraits of them alone plus details of their attire.

After some images at the table with the couple we headed to the big hall where they usually hold big wedding for some dancing photos as a wrap up for the day. That room/hall has an amazing view towards the big river called Rhein. Oposite on the other side of the river you can see another castle (Dragon-castle).

We did this inspiration shoot to show potentional couples how they could celebrate their wedding at a venue such as this. Not many know about the amazing venue since it’s up on a mountain. You can have an indoor ceremony there since it has a small church beside the main building or you can have an outdoor wedding on the big terrace next to the presidential suite. Outdoors is a lovely park to take walks or just sit on one of the many terraces and enjoy the breathtaking view!
