Modern Nautical Philadelphia Wedding

As a proud New Englander, stripes and the seaside are two of my favorite things. So when this modern approach to nautical-style nuptials hit my inbox...let's just say I was one happy blogger. It's filled to the gills with navy accents +  Belovely's all-white florals, and miss Emily Wren snapped every darling moment. More right here!

From the Bride... While on a vacation in Maine with long-term girlfriend Laura, Daniel proposed at the top of Pemaquid Lighthouse which would then shape the nautical theme of their wedding. Tying the "nautical knot," the couple was married on the dock of a boathouse in Philadelphia's historic boathouse row while guests watched from the balcony, forming a very intimate setting. Daniel and Laura also incorporated traditional wedding elements from his Jewish and her Thai heritage. With her experience working for a textile design company, Laura's acute sense of style and eye for finishing details were seamlessly incorporated throughout the entire event.
