From the beautiful Bride...Taylor and I first met at Manheim Community Pool when he was 17 years old and on the swim team and I was 15 and life guarding at the pool. One evening during a swim meet 17 year old Taylor approached me and said, "hey." That was it. Several years later he found me on Facebook and we began talking. After a first date to Tropical Smoothie and to see the movie, The Rise of the Planet of The Apes, we just knew... We continued dating long distance as Taylor went to school and ran track at Liberty University in Virgina and I stayed in PA to study in the medical field. After dating for two years, Taylor got down on one knee and proposed to me on the front porch of the home I grew up in. Every time I walk through the door of my parents home I think about that special day... Currently we live in an apartment in Manheim with our two kittens, Titan and Bruno. Taylor is pursing his own DJ business, The Electric Gentleman, and I am working as a style blogger for Walk in Love.!

I loved that the venue offered so many options with the location. It gave our guests different places to walk around and they could explore the property. The ceremony was in a garden with a long brick aisle that circled around a large fountain. The alter was beaneth a white awning that overlooked the countryside and a horse pasture. The barn where the reception took place had lots of natural lighting as well as a tent attached where guests could mingle onto the patio around the reflection pool.

The theme of our wedding was a 1960's mid century modern dance party. Basically we wanted it to be colorful, fun, light hearted, and involve lots of confetti and dancing! The color scheme was mint blue with gold accents as well as Kelly green, navy blue, and bubblegum pink.

We had my grandfather who is a pastor marry us which was special because he married my parents, my aunts and uncles, as well as my older sister and her husband. We used my grandmothers knife to cut our cake. The knife was used in her wedding as well as my mother's and aunt's weddings. It is also used at every anniversary event in our family. Steven Courtney sang to us during our ceremony and T.J Mousetis wrote a personal message to us that he read during the ceremony. My sister, Heather Daly, sang while my dad and I did our father daughter dance. Lastly, Taylor and I had our first dance to the song, "Love Is A Verb," by John Mayer who is his all time favorite artist.

The First Look and seeing Taylor's face when he first saw me in my dress. Walking down the aisle with my dad, who is a military guy, and hearing him chant, left, right left, under his breath the whole way down the aisle to keep us walking in unison. After being announced husband and wife there was a confetti toss and we walked down the aisle to "You're My Best Friend," by Queen. Dancing ours faces off at the reception with our family and friends.
