Kudos to this stunning Chicagoan duo. With the help of Rachel Rose Weddings, they planned their Marbella destination wedding from afar and the result is blend of American and Spanish tradition right down to every last detail. Lace complemented by papel picado stationery from Bella Figura and chandeliers floating above blush floral topped tables… it’s a fresh take on the classic and we’re in love with every bit from Anna Gazda.
From Rachel Rose Weddings…Rachel and Mike were one of our brave couples who plan their long distance destination wedding without ever visiting the venue first. Luckily to date we have never had a disappointed couple and Rachel and Mike were no exception. With them both living in Chicago but with destination weddings in the family, their siblings have all married in wonderful destinations such as Hawaii and Italy, the competition was on to out do the rest! Rachel and Mike had both visited Andalucia in previous years and had fallen in love with the area and once they found Cortijo Pedro Jimenez the deal was done. Being our first all American wedding with guests travelling such a long distance the pressure was on to make a truly memorable affair and week long celebration. Rachel wanted a classic and elegant affair but with some subtle Spanish influences so we settled on papel picado details on the stationery and delightful hand painted Spanish pottery vases for the centerpieces coupled with beautiful florals and classic vintage touches. These wonderful images from Anna Gazda at Limelight brought a big smile to our face and a tear to our eye when they landed on our desk as she really did capture what a wonderful days it was and just how deeply in love with each they are.
