If I could, I would crawl into this shoot and live amongst all the pretty forever. Styled to perfection by Erin Kate Photography and Soil & Stem, this gallery is overflowing with the kind of lush, floral-filled inspiration that will make your heart beat a bit faster this morning. See what I mean here.
From Erin Kate Photography and Soil & Stem…Gargoyles peered over the jagged pitches of the roof, while pigeons swooped and cooed around us during this lush courtyard styled shoot.
Our color palate really allowed us to focus on the simple, natural textures of our subject matter: the porous cement, heirloom silver, and the infinite patterns of layered greens that included ferns, eucalyptus, foraged vines, and incredible peppermint scented felt geranium.
Like freshly picked from an overgrown secret garden, our bridal bouquet was a bit wild, but also timeless. This beauty was hand-tied in antique French silk ribbon in the most beautiful shade of dove gray I’ve ever seen.
Other lovely details from the shoot…The bride wore a delicate chiffon gown. Her hair was styled in a simple twist bun adorned with vintage rhinestone barrettes. A guest sign-in book was created with an old book and maidenhair fern was pressed between the pages. Place cards were displayed on vintage silver forks that were wrapped in geranium leaves, fern, and soft blossoms. A cement cake stand displayed a lovely, chocolate naked cake with buttercream frosting spilling out between the layers.
We hope brides will find simple, clean beauty can pair well with unruly, lush stems in this elegant courtyard shoot.
