Northwest Fall Inspired Elopement

If the slight crispness in the air is any indication, Fall is just around the corner. And while you may be soaking up every last minute of these warm summer days, this inspiration will have you dreaming up a gorgeous Fall affair. Styled by New Creations Weddings with florals by Columbia City Bouquet and photography by Kelly Lemon, this is an intimate lakeside elopement with the perfect dose of glamour.

When discussing the inspiration for this northwest fall inspired elopement, we wanted to focus on deep rich colors and allow the gold to give that glamour touch to it. Really bringing in the style and beauty of the Northwest without going too over the top. The NW has so many great natural backdrops with our mountains and waterways, so we decided to enhance the feature of being out on the water on a floating dock. Bringing in the dark emerald green with the pop of gold sequin really made the tablescape stand out from the dock, while keeping the overall look of subdued glamour. Keeping it sweet and simple with a faux fur throw, pillow and simple place settings really allowed for the natural beauty and the couple to shine.

Cicada Bridal helped us select a dress that gave the mood that this couple was stylish but relaxed. So the form fitting lace dress was a perfect fit, being comfortable and fitting for an elopement out in the woods, and was flattering in all the right places on our beautiful model.

Columbia City Bouquet really brought our vision to life, when she spray painted different greens in the bouquets and florals gold, giving a pop of glamour within a very natural setting and we feel that truly represents the northwest – relaxed, lots of earth tones, appreciating nature with a pop of glamour and style
