By now, I think it’s pretty well known that waterfront weddings are my jam. And when they’re made with love from a handful of seriously talented vendors? They soar even higher in my book. Enter this classic with a touch of modern Lake Tahoe wedding. Merrily Wed made sure every detail was in it’s perfect place, while Jonathan Young snapped it all up for safe keeping. From Merrily Wed… Emily and Joe’s wedding was a modern classic. They exchanged their vows, sipped signature drinks, dined under twinkling market lights and danced on a custom white dance floor with beautiful crystal chandeliers overhead – all lakeside!
The thrills began with Joe making a grand entrance on a classic woody boat with nothing less than formal tux attire for the groomsmen, junior groomsmen and for him. The bridesmaids were gorgeous in long chiffon light gray Amsale dresses while Emily herself wore a stunning Vera Wang gown.
Her adorable 4 flower girls can’t go without a mention either – babies breath hair wreaths with dove grey ribbon completed their ensemble and one dashing little ring bearer completed the beautiful wedding party.
White, silver and black was the predominant wedding color palette with sophisticated detail evident throughout the ceremony and reception. All white luscious florals, white linen, white leather lounge, white wedding cake – wedding white was never seen better!
A custom monogram on the entry wreathes, dining napkins, goodie bags, lounge pillows, matchboxes… Grey escort cards with white font along with silver julep cups, platinum beaded glass charger all subtly added the touch of grey & silver.
