This boho Bride’s approach is spot on: You have to remember that there are NO rules when planning your wedding. Don’t feel forced to plan anything you aren’t into. Your wedding should be a reflection of you and your husband. Her wildly pretty fete planned by Beau Tied Events, is exactly that. It’s so them. And without actually knowing them, all it takes is one look at the gallery from Heather Curiel to know that their day? It reflected every bit of their love.
From the beautiful Bride… Getting married out in Marathon was a dream. It felt so good to be in the peaceful atmosphere of west Texas. The Gage Hotel was the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding of 34 guests. All festivities were held at the Captain Shepherd’s house (owned by The Gage). Joe and I, along with our friends, occupied The Captain Shepherd’s house. I got ready there, we had the ceremony/dinner in the courtyard, and partied late into the night! It was so nice to stay put in one place. I never felt rushed or worried about what everyone was up to.

I loved that we had a small wedding! I felt like I really got to connect with my friends/family that made the journey. From going on a morning walk with my girlfriends to relaxing with champagne on the big porch balcony to laying in the middle of the road star gazing with guests… it was all so magical.
