Whimsical Wedding Cake Inspiration
I seriously started salivating making this post. There are a lot of cakes, and yes, all cakes look delicious. But this is sugar-confected art here, folks. The people at Country Cake Shop in Salem, Oregon are masters of all trades too. Not only did they bake the cakes you see here, but they produced this whole shoot as well. These cakes were inspired by all the fir trees, bark and berries in the forests surrounding the Willamette Valley. Adding a little bit of sparkle and glamour that every girls loves, really brought these cakes to life. Each cake has gold tying them all together, whether it be the painted gold chevrons, gold leaf flecks or an entire tier wrapped in delicate gold leaf.
