Loft-Style Wedding Inspiration

Give me a loft with exposed brick,  floor-to-ceiling windows, plus a hint of urban charm, and you’ve got my idea of a perfect venue. Then bring in Eventi Planning and Wicked Willow to work their wedding magic, and the result is a modern-rustic take on the industrial-set “I do.” Of course, no great shoot is complete without Marta Locklear behind the lens, and you can swoon her shots in the gallery right here.

From Marta LocklearRecently I had the pleasure of capturing an inspiration shoot put on by a brand new venue, award winning caterer and the lovely Diana of Eventi Planning. I must say Mt. Washington Mill Dye House is the perfect location for urban/rustic weddings and receptions. With tons of natural light and natural character very little is needed to dress up the space.

Diana brought in a wonderful team of vendors for this shoot. The food displays alone from The Copper Kitchen were a dream to photograph. They had unique and visually stunning displays from Oysters Rockefeller on pink sea salt, pie pops, naked cake and even a full roasted pig. Wicked Willow then accented the space with a wonderful textural palette of monotone flowers that accented the colors of the venue perfectly and the blush lace Badgley Mischka gown worn by the bride.
