Sweet tea and Southern weddings go together like PB & J. And while this Fearrington House soiree had the tea situation fully covered, that’s only the beginning. From the pint-sized succulent favors to the Bride’s gorgeous lace gown, the whole day was a nod to Southern grace from beginning to end. From Anna Routh… Kristine and John were married on one of the first warm, spring days in Chapel Hill. Blue skies and beautiful spring blossoms watched over this sweet couple as they exchanged vows at the always stunning Fearrington Village. Kristine’s lace dress was the picture of elegance, and the succulent- heavy, colorful florals were the perfect accompaniment to her bridesmaid’s lovely navy lace dresses.
Guests enjoyed sweet tea and bluegrass in the orchard at The Fearrington before the ceremony – such a treat! The reception in the dreamy Fearrington barn was full of stunning spring florals, southern fare and lots of dancing. One of my favorite details of Kristine and John’s wedding was their succulent favors and the adorable chalk sign displayed with them. Kristine LOVES succulents, so these were the perfect gift for she and John’s friends and families. I am so excited to have been a part of this lovely day!
