I love wedding videos — you get to see the vows, speeches, dancing and really feel the love that surrounds a couple on their big day. All this, and you still get to catch all the pretty little details. This wedding at the bride’s family’s campground, Camp Brigadoon, in Northwest Wisconsin is full of DIY details and, of course, fun. From the Bride… In order to save money, but have the wedding of our dreams, my family, my now Husband and I together with all of our hard work, created nothing short of a fairy tale. Held on a lot next to my parents Campground where I grew up, on a beautiful 75 degrees and sunny day, everything came together. Everyone that meant the most to Matt and I was there to watch as we committed our lives together by Matts brother in law Steve, with a personal ceremony that had lots of tears and laughter. With incredible food, drinks and music, our guests helped us to celebrate the night away. Our biggest priority (beyond marrying each other of course) was to have the wedding that we wanted, which meant throwing the best party we could for all of the people we love. It was a bit non-traditional, but with the support of our families, it was exactly how we had wanted. Blush, gold, cream and accents of navy were highlighted throughout, and most all of the decor was the nature around us or something I had DIY’d during our 8 month engagement. As we live in San Francisco, the week before our wedding we were able to tie up all loose ends working 10 to 12 hours straight through. We are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends to help make all of our dreams a reality.
