We love the meaningful touches brides incorporate into their day. Like this bride who decided on a lush bouquet of Peruvian Lilies as a (gorgeous!) nod to her South American roots, and chose their Robbins Park venue because of its statuesque moss-covered oaks which symbolize strength and stability. There’s a whole gallery of chic details to revel in thanks to the handy lens work of Vivid Pink Photography.
From The Bride… For our wedding I used Peruvian Lilies as the only flowers because of its meaning and beauty. They also represent my culture as I am Peruvian by birth. This flower was the inspiration for many of the things we had at our wedding, like the appetizers, which were a hit with our guests as they had a culinary experience with different dishes from Peru. To represent David’s side, we opted for BBQ for the reception and in this way, we hoped to have our guest relax and enjoy themselves. The ceremony was planned by both of us in detail as we wanted to highlight our faith and Christian convictions. We included a Salt Ceremony or Salt Covenant that represented the eternal bond between us. We also included a special blessing that my brother wrote for us to start off our new life as Mr. and Mrs. David Stenger.
