Colorful Coastal Maine Wedding

There are few things more serene than an open field, which is why we're so taken by this stunning wedding in Tenant's Harbor, Maine. Also, the florals from Lyonelle Clark Landscaping truly standout from the wedding-flower pack (just look at the carrot and dahlia centerpiece. Brilliant!) From Zwickerhill Photography...Jeremy and Elizabeth had a beautiful outdoor wedding on a rented farm in Tenant's Harbor which is in the Midcoast region of Maine. The ceremony was in the field behind the farm and the reception was in the most extravagant tent I have ever seen. Timothy Shields from Ambience Event Services (who also does the lighting and design for the Maine Film Festival) set full size birch trees next to the tent pillars, bringing the outdoors indoors, and lit the trees so that the shadows of leaves flittered across the roof of the tent. Dancing and dessert followed the reception in the barn with the best man/DJ working the crowd from his vantage point in the hayloft. A fun DIY element to the event was the family table signing at the ceremony. As a furniture maker, Jeremy did a special maple table top which everybody at the wedding signed with a wood-burner. Friends of the couple contributed hugely. The chuppah, the wedding cake (Ashley Bliss at Beach Pea in Kittery), countless decorations, the photo booth, gifts for the guests (jam), and much more were all done with the help of the couple's friends.
