From Brancoprata... When the bride first emailed us, we immediately realized that this was going to be a special event! Both the bride and groom live abroad and they decided to get married in the north of Portugal, at Pousada do Monte de Santa Lúzia. A beautiful hotel with a spectacular view overlooking Viana do Castelo, a very well know city in the North of Portugal! It was a weekend of various activities for the guests, where they had the chance to learn more about portuguese traditions and customs. As far as the wedding day, the couple wanted to create an elegant and timeless ambience! They incorporated little touches that made the day unique! For instance, the cake topper used was a vintage piece designed for the bride's parents wedding! To honor the groom's cultural background, the bride did some traditional henna art. The couple and guests enjoyed a beautiful sunset during cocktail hour and after dinner they danced the night away!
