This looks a lot like my ideal saturday with my husband – gobs of coffee, a stroll through the local farmer’s market picking out some tasty treats for dinner that night. I think I would spend every day like that if I could. And while mine is a lot less picturesque (read screaming infant twins in tow) this Saint Paul engagement by The McCartneys is as gorgeous as they come. See even more right here.
From The McCartneys Photography…You know that kind of person who you spend your entire life looking up to? For me (Kelsy) that has always been my Aunt Susan, and she is the beautiful lady whose smile lights up each one of these photos!! In hopes of not spoiling my wedding day speech, as I am so excited to be standing beside Susan along with two others as one of her Matrons of Honor, I’m going to skip some of the mushy stuff and move onto how excited I am to see Susan the happiest I have EVER seen her!!
Susan & Eric were introduced by friends, and their very first date is exactly what inspired their engagement session! After meeting at the Black Dog Cafe in Saint Paul, MN for coffee on a Saturday morning, they ventured across the street to the Farmer’s Market and continued to talk for hours. Not only is that an adorable first date, it also lended itself to a cute and meaningful location for their photos!! After making our way through mounds of brussels sprouts and autumnal blooms, we headed to what we like to call Central Park (aka Historic Irvine Park) and were lucky enough to have just enough playtime before the rain came.
