We all know that orange is the new black but this wedding is proof that orange is also the new modern. This unexpected punch of color adds the perfect vibrancy to an all out modern affair where wire chairs comingle with rose flower crowns and the beauty of an Australian vineyard. But we’ll let the imagery by Kate Robinson Photography do all the talking. Look here for even more.
From The Bride…Being married at the start of April, we wanted to create a warm and whimsical autumnal wedding.
Floral arrangements comprised lovely ivory and soft orange tones, mixed with Australian foliage and fresh herbs. Wedding stationary was marked with autumn leaves dancing across the page. The bridesmaids also shone in beautiful orange dresses that were elegant, and playful too.
The vineyard and winery of Port Phillip Estate was our perfect venue, as we wanted to be married outside against a stunning, natural backdrop.
Soft, romantic lace was a prominent feature in my wedding dress, from London designer Alice Temperely. The ethereal look was complete with a halo of fresh roses. The groom also wore London designer Spencer Hart. This enabled us to bring the very best in English styling back to Australia after the last few years living in London.
Most importantly, our wedding day was filled with so much happiness and love, and was such a joy to share with our closest family and friends.
We could not have asked for a more lovely and impressive photographer than Kate Robinson. It was an absolute joy to have shared the lead up to and have Kate apart of our wedding day. Thank you to Kate for capturing the occasion so perfectly. We will relive the happiness and love from our wedding through your photos forever more.
