This wedding had us at hello with that bridal gown and, who are we kidding, the shoes are pretty phenomenal too. It’s Carolina Herrera and Valentino meets a classic black tie affair in Chapel Hill. From Graham Terhune Photography…Heather and Robert celebrated a stunning Chapel Hill wedding in the middle of April. The Cherry trees were in full blossom and the overcast day created the most fantastic light for the intimacy of Heather and Robert’s wedding day. We were impressed by all of the classic and thoughtful details that the two incorporated into their wedding celebration. All of the wedding elements were timeless and created an elegant atmosphere that permeated the entire day.
In addition to their stunning outward appearances, Heather and Robert are two of the classiest, kindest and most genuine couples with whom we have worked. We felt the calmness of their wedding day and it allowed us to photograph in the moment and capture the tender emotions between Heather, Robert and their loved ones.
Heather and Robert’s reception venue was at a private residence in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and it provided the perfect backdrop for the wonderful event. Their gorgeous backyard tent was full of special elements including a magnolia wreath chandelier, baby’s breath arrangements and a sitting area complete with shawls for the ladies. The food served was not only delicious but absolutely stunning works of art.
