From First Mate Photo… Galen and John were married on a gorgeous summer afternoon in the beautiful seaside town of little Compton, RI. The wedding was held at the bride’s parents home. Their wedding had a gorgeous, rustic yet ethereal quality to it. Galen looked stunning in her Jenny Packham gown. The couple’s nieces and nephews were their flower girls and ring bearers and were absolutely adorable in mini boden dresses and pink bow ties. There were so many children that the couple decided to have a table for just the kids. They all received gift bags with fun goodies in them to take home and to keep them entertained during the festivities.
Wood walls were built to hide the tent poles and to display pictures of the bride and groom as children. Tables were covered in wild flower arrangements and mismatched napkins and plates. Escort cards were put in a planter box that was full of flowers. The evening was full of dancing and heartfelt toasts from family and friends. Pie and ice cream for dessert.
