From Shannen Norman...A few years ago, Monica was visiting a friend in Orange County. She was living in Brooklyn at the time. Her friend’s roommate just so happened to have a handsome new friend, visiting for the first time that same day as well. Both Bryan and Monica were smitten with each other from the very start. Bryan even charmed Monica into staying a week, when originally it was supposed to be a 2 day visit. They spent every day together and eventually their love journey began. One year later, Monica moved to Orange County and they’ve been inseparable since.
Monica and Bryan’s wedding vision was to be surrounded by beautiful endless hills in a peaceful intimate setting. Saddlerock’s Chateau Le Dome Vineyard in Mallbu, CA provided just that. After Monica & Bryan's traditional tea ceremony at the bride’s home, Monica and her bridesmaids arrived at Saddlerock mid-day and got ready in the dome octagon-shaped house. Their pre-ceremonoy photos by the amazing and talented Shannen Natasha, took them through Saddlerock, with backdrops ranging from a picture framed setting of the Malibu Hills to the beautiful cedar groves that are on the property.
Their vows were exchanged beneath an oak-arch entwined with grapevines, and for their pre-reception, their guests enjoyed signature cocktails with handmade specialty ingredients. The mood was so intimate and comfortable as they enjoyed an evening under the star-lit sky on a hilltop, surrounded with endless panoramic views of hills, valleys and vineyards. Food and decor was very important to them, and with the help of Trina Schmidt Weddings & Special Events, that vision came to reality. A delicious palette of farm to table fresh ingredients and unique dishes were served, thanks to the creative dining experience from roomforty. Guests dined at long and round antiqued tables provided by Town & Country Rentals, adorned with Chantilly lace & Irish linens from Designer Specialty Linens. Accents of vintage blush pink goblets, mercury glass votives and box wooden centerpieces filled with garden blush pink and ivory roses, were perfect with the outdoor backyard-like vintage wedding theme. Monica herself even potted individual succulents for the guests to take home, so they can remember the day's beautiful surroundings. As the evening continued, they danced the night away to the mixing talent of VOX Djs. It was surely an evening to remember as they celebrated with their closest 100 family and friends.
