Forest Engagement Session

Trekking through the breathtaking landscape that is the Paradise Valley Conservation Area sort of sounds like the perfect way to spend an afternoon, but add in two cuties from Texas and a talented photography team like Rick+Anna Photography and it’s more than perfect… it’s awesome in every sense of the word.  Think light-filled images and fields of green every which way you turn.  Click here for more.

From Rick+Anna Photography… Sarah and Justin are newly engaged and live in Texas, so we had the huge honor of photographing them during their recent trip to Woodinville, WA. They wanted a Northwest feel, so we gave them quite the experience – trekking through the forest dodging mud puddles and crazy flying bugs, and then hiking out into a field for some more shots at sunset. We loved both locations, especially the hike through the woods – the light was so beautiful streaming through the trees.

Here’s a little bit about how Sarah and Justin met: upon his return from a run in his hometown of Austin, TX, Justin had no idea that his life was about to change forever. It’s amazing how fate takes a hold of our hearts when we least expect it – and it took hold that day for Sarah and him. There was some noise out on the street that he wanted to check out, and he wanted some fresh air, so he stepped out onto his balcony… and suddenly the breath was knocked out of him as he glanced over and saw, gracefully sipping a cappuccino on his neighbors balcony across the way, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. They struck up a conversation and for 30 minutes he sat mezmerized by Sarah – her smile, her personality, everything! And later, behind the courage of a text message, he asked her if she would go out with him… and the rest, as they say, is history…
