This wedding right here? It’s the epitome of a classic NYC wedding. A seriously sophisticated Manhattan affair with sooo many amazing details, it’s impossible not to stare. Think a gorgeous bride, a stunning Christiano Lucci gown and a Riverside Church Of New York setting that is all kinds of wonderful. This one’s made for the movies, lovelies. See it all captured by Lauren Gabrielle right here.
From the Bride… Mike and I met in college in Connecticut, but our love really grew strong after graduation when we moved out to New York. We moved there independently for work, but in retrospect it feels like we moved there to fall madly in love with each other. With my family being from a small town in Connecticut, and Mike’s being from Boston, we decided that New York City would be the best location for our wedding, and to host our guests; in the heart of it the city that stole our hearts for the past seven years.
When we stepped into Riverside Church on the upper west side of the city, the stunning architecture of the church and the genuine beauty completely took our breath away – we knew this was where we wanted our happily ever after to start.
We decided on October because fall is our favorite season and we were married in less than seven months from the day of our engagement. The venue provided a traditional, classy and modern space for our nuptials, but being surrounded by so many of our loving family and friends is what truly made our wedding beautiful!
