Laura Gordon is one of those photographers who can do no wrong. She’s a rising star of the wedding world, and when she sent over these Charlottesville nuptials complete with gold sequin table runners and rich pops of pink…we couldn’t get it up here fast enough. Amore Events By Cody designed the whole southern glam shebang, and the images below are only the beginning.
From Laura Gordon… Saguna and Dan’s wedding day started at the beautiful University of Virginia Chapel where they stood in front of their most beloved friends and family and devoted their lives to each other. From there, the whole party headed toward the mountains to King Family Vineyards, where they gathered to celebrate the beautiful couple.
The gold sequined chevron runners adorned all of the tables inspired Saguna and Dan’s entire day. Keeping the runners as the focal point, we accented the reception tables with beautiful gold-rimmed china accompanied by pale gold flatware, gold tulip candle holders, and overflowing lush floral arrangements. There were also personal elements sprinkled throughout that really made this day theirs. From the family pictures garnishing the hutch, to the hand-made cork escort card holders, the stunning traditional Thai dress, the scotch bar at the fire-pit, and a UVA Rotunda-shaped wedding cake to honor where they met, this wedding was tailored perfectly for them.
The entire wedding, from the beautiful chapel ceremony to the magical sparkler exit, was breathtakingly romantic. It really was a fairytale wedding to match a storybook romance.
