Rustic Chic Wedding on Navark Island
When stylish folks like DJ Abeille and her handsome hubby (who happens to be the brains behind many fabulous things, including le Mechant Mangeur) tie the knot, you know it's not only going to be a gorgeous party, but a fun one too. So it shouldn't be a big surprise that the wedding sitting pretty below is one for the books. Captured beautifully by Emilie Iggiotti, this is one gallery you simply cannot miss.
From Emilie Iggiotti...Abeille is a DJ, TV host and TV personality in Montreal and Na'eem is a foodista, food blogger and social media specialist. They got engaged in India, at the Taj Mahal. How romantic is this? Their wedding was a perfect mix of traditions: Abeille is from a French quebecois family and Na'eem is Indian. They had a mehndi party a few days before the big wedding. The style of their wedding was really rustic and chic. The colors were a mix of peach, pink and blue and it was lovely. The flowers made by Atelier Carmel were just perfect. Their wedding took place on a private island in Montreal, called Navark. The light on this island at sunset is simply amazing.
Their wedding was full of surprises, from musicians playing sitara during cocktail, to Bollywood dancers launching the dance party with the bride and groom, to the bride's friend playing the guitar and singing a song for the newlyweds during dinner, to the groom's best man (who is a painter) painting a piece of art (the Taj Mahal) for them during the reception as a gift, to the surprise birthday cake for Abeille's sister... the wedding was just a day full of life and love and celebration and happiness. Not to mention the constant smile on the bride's face and the happiness of the groom. This wedding was all about love, dance and bliss.
