Desert Inspiration Shoot
I am speechless. Jaw to my desk speechless. Because this shoot from Lexia Frank Photography is far too pretty for words. With the stunning styling and photography by the lovely Lexia and a breathtaking film from Naz Films, this beauty just took the top spot as one of my all time favorite shoots. See why here.
From Lexia Frank Photography...I'd been wanting to do a very minimalistic, earth-inspired shoot for a long time. When I found the 100 year-old hoop skirt at an antique store in florida, i knew it must be included. I created the belt out of leather and hundreds of feathers. the origami menus mix the guest's name card, and upon opening, they see the menu listed for the evening. They were designed by Eva Black Designs, and she is a genius with folded paper designs! The wood elements were found on-site at the desert and the antlers were painted white for a simple, all-white table-scape. and, the ever talented Naz Films made an absolutely beautiful Super 8mm film to go along with our shoot in the desert. We worked with our wonderful models, Susan Mirembe and curt Kingston, and Katherine Risling did an incredible job with Susan's makeup.
