Rustic Garden Half Moon Bay Elopement

If I had taken only a peek at this pretty from Monica Roy, I’d never have guessed it an intimate elopement. The details are that of a full on wedding, but made for only two, and it’s oh-so-lovely. The touch of bohemian in the Bride’s intricate BHLDN dress and floral crown, pop of orange in the lush garden setting and the prettiest coastal views have me wanting to spend my Saturday afternoon in this gorgeous gallery.

From Monica RoyLittle did Rosalinda and Isaac know how fateful their chance encounter on the flight to Colorado would be. The odds seemed stacked against them, as at the time, Rosalinda was living in Mexico (where she grew up) and Isaac, in the States. However, the fact that their conversation spanned the next five hours was an inkling of things to come. Sure enough, one thing led to another and Isaac moved to join Rosalinda in Mexico City, where the couple still reside. Introverts and jet setters by nature, they decided to have a destination elopement when the time was right. They looked up a list of the most beautiful destinations in the world for elopements and stumbled across San Francisco City Hall. Unfortunately, all the appointment slots that they coincided with their elopement dates were booked, so they deferred to a recommendation from a planner. As luck would have it (again), the serene, magical, lush setting that they ended up exchanging their vows in was an even better fit for the intimate ceremony they had envisioned. I was so touched after they asked me to be their witness during the license signing as well as invited me to have a slice of their delicious cake in a nearby coffeehouse after our photo session. Chatting with the couple revealed them to be as brainy as they are stylish. After spending 3 more days in San Francisco, the adventurous duo continued their travels on a honeymoon in Costa Rica followed by Thanksgiving with family in Florida.
