Anyone who knows me knows that stripes in any way, shape, or form are the direct route to my heart. Parallel lines get me going more than any design element, so this wedding from Candice Benjamin Photography, which plays the bold black and white stripes against the natural olive grove and the poppy coral color, has put a permanent grin on my face, starting with the paper from Prim and Pixie and carrying through to the end with those magical twinkle lights.
From the happy coupleā¦ We wanted to mix modern and vintage together. Brendan and Sara are people who love new things and ideas, but also want to embrace the traditional as well. They wanted their wedding style to reflect this. Sara always liked black and white stripes, namely the boldness of them and she wanted to incorporate it. The gold tones and textures were fun addition to compliment the turquoise and coral. As for the venue, they wanted to find a venue that was outdoors, a location that they could have family style tables and be able to execute both the ceremony and reception at the same location. The venue only allows one wedding a day so even though its a large space its very intimate and reasonably priced.
