Romantic Cal-a-Vie Inspiration Shoot

On my Monday agenda?  Spending some QT drooling over this colorful (+ gorgeous) bundle of inspiration.  From the beautiful blooms from The Vine's Leaf to the fab paper goods from Copper Willow Paper Studio to the breathtaking setting that is Cal-a-Vie Health Spa, it's what I call a day well spent.  See it all captured by Chris and Kristen Photography right here.

From Chris and Kristen Photography... When coming up with the inspiration for this shoot, the venue, Cal-a-Vie, was inspiration enough. Walking up to the chapel for the first time, we felt out of place, like we weren't in California anymore. My mind was suddenly transported to an imaginary little chapel in southwestern Europe. For the shoot, we wanted to create a romantic, old age look that would compliment the emotion we felt at Cal-a-Vie and that would accentuate the vintage beauty of the venue itself. The brass candlesticks and dim candle light, with vintage coverless books and rich, lush florals were used in a way that wouldn't overpower where we were, but create a time and a place we dreamt of being in.
