From Brittany Lauren Photography... We met up with Heather and Risa for New Year's Eve (coincidentally) and Heather told me her and Risa were running up to Washington with just three guests and a dog to get married. I quickly hinted at the fact that I should OBVIOUSLY be their photographer and two months later there we all were. An amazing mid-week getaway with gorgeous weather, wonderful views, amazing people, and a love so sweet and so sincere it can literally conquer all.

The wedding truly was a labor of love with everyone pitching in. One guest made all the floral arrangements, another guest who does wood burning work made the customized time capsule box, Chapter, the dog, carried the rings, and Heather's mom handmade her dress and the smudging stick.

There is something so romantic about running away with the love of your life and your three closest friends for a week of sunshine, celebration, and binding yourself to one another forever. Heather and Risa knew that more than anything they wanted their wedding to be special, intimate, and full of love and laughter.
