Modern Seaside Wedding
Beach weddings are always awesome. But take that beach wedding and wrap it up in some crazy cool contemporary details and a whole lot of soft pink and it's a modern meets breathtaking day that will steal your heart in every which way. From Kye Norton Photography... Natalie and Karl tied the knot last year in the very spot in which they were engaged on Christmas Eve the year prior. This sentimental location was the perfect backdrop for what was a perfect day. Months and months of rain eased the morning of, to reveal blue skies and the ultimate beach wedding weather.
A hand calligraphed chalkboard showed the order of service and seating plans, the men looking very dapper in two tone suits in cool navy and grey tones. Fresh pops of green and white, soft flowing dusty pink bridesmaid dresses. Navy gingham covered jars jam packed with puns “Preserve the Love” and “Spread the love” and a sunset view to die for, are just a few of the things that made this wedding so unique.
From the Bride... Karl and I wanted our day to reflect us as a couple and the things we love. Burleigh Heads is where we live, where we got engaged and we both love everything about the beachside atmosphere here. Our theme was modern, fresh and simple. Our ceremony and reception locations were stunning being right on the ocean so we didn’t want to take away from that. Our parents, bridal party, family and friends truly made our day as special as it was. The most special moment for us was saying our vows to each other. We wrote our own vows so it was a very touching moment hearing them for the first time.
