Castle Ashby Love Session

The whole world has gone a little Brit-crazy lately, and I’ve come to the conclusion it’s either the fault of Downton Abbey or beautiful Kate Middleton but whatever it is, Rowell Photography has sent in the perfect love session for the current Anglophile climate. I for one, am completely obsessed and have spent the better part of the week imagining myself walking along with this adorable couple!

Tara & Ryan wanted to do a special couples photo shoot near their house in Northamptonshire, England. They hail from Canada and have been living in the UK for a few years now. Every week they walk their dogs through the gardens at Castle Ashby and nearby Stowe. Castle Ashby is over 400 years old and was once visited by Queen Elizabeth 1st. It is so picturesque with perfectly manicured hedges on nearly 10,000 acres of gorgeous English countryside. Both locations were so magical, I could photograph them for years. It also helps that Tara & Ryan looked perfect in their grey wool jackets and their matching black, white and grey dogs at Castle Ashby. Tara;s parents joined in for a few family photos as well.

Stowe is so romantic, and for these photos Tara wore a Ted Baker dress and bright pink heels. They strolled through the lane ways, and bridges, the gardens and the grotto of the enormous private school property. All the while we captured images of a couple in love. It was like a scene out of a Jane Austen Novel. Absolutely lovely.
