Take a location like the breathtaking Hempstead House and glam it up with some glittery details and a whole lot of romance and the results are seriously amazing. Now add in a dream team of vendors (think Once Upon a Bride, Swank Productions and L&L Style Photo) and a duo that is the epitome of stunning and it’s almost too pretty to believe (trust me). See it all in the full gallery.
From the Photographer… This wedding took place on July 6th, 2013 at the sumptuous Hempstead House in Long Island, an old estate and mansion built in 1917. The day was hot but events were planned accordingly with the guests wearing light dresses and suits and protection from the sun by Chinese style umbrellas.
Paula and David looked spectacular. They wanted to have a first look and say some special words to each other in a private space before the guests arrived. After that bridesmaids and groomsmen got together for some pictures. Everything had a “beginning of the century” feeling, framed by the gorgeous mansion and the gardens.
The music had a vintage tone as well, with old jazz tunes performed live and giving it all a Gatsby touch, which was inspired in this location.
