When you work in my line of work, sometimes you get to the point where you feel like you’ve seen it all, and then this lands on your desk. A stunning gown made of flowers. You saw Zita Elze’s finest work (and that’s saying something) worn down the aisle by this beautiful bride earlier today and lucky for us, Lucy Davenport and her well seasoned lens is here to give us a closer look at that beautiful, beautiful gown!
When we saw the prep work that went into this gown, courtesy of The Dreamcatchers, our jaws literally dropped.

From Zita Elze… The inspiration for Zita Elze’s fresh floral bridal gowns began in one of her classes at the Zita Elze Design Academy in Kew a few years ago. Experimenting with her signature Floral Embroidery technique – creating an embroidery effect with tiny flower heads and buds on a glass vase – Zita tried the technique on material, and the astonishing results soon developed into the Living Embroidery Bridal Collection of dresses and accessories. Extraordinary gowns were designed and displayed at the Chelsea Flower Show and luxury wedding fairs, but the first bride to order a full floral dress was Leanne…
We were delighted to have talented photographer Lucy Davenport taking pictures for us on the day, documenting Leanne’s beautiful dress and wedding flowers and working with her approval around the official wedding photographer to complete an enchanting story of an enchanting day. I especially love the cornfield pictures, a wonderful natural and original extra touch for the bride and groom on their happy day.
