Modern Wedding at Montage Laguna Beach
Beach weddings are my everything. I adore them. But when you throw in some modern flair and gorgeous styling (thanks to The Special Day) on top of them, well, I get a little giddy. And I may or may not let out a squeal or two. Because this gallery of image from Gabriel Ryan? It defines squeal-worthy.
From The Special Day ...The most important thing to Amy and Jeff about their wedding was that it reflected their history as individuals, and their history as a couple. We did just that!
We decided on a color palette of orange with turquoise. Amy and Jeff met while attending OREGON STATE, and actually during their college football game, so they LOVE Orange! The couple picked the Montage Laguna Beach as their venue, and fell in love with the pattern in the fence gates, proving you can find inspiration anywhere! That inspired them to bring in a similar design as the motif in the invites and stationery that were designed by Amy's brother in law. We even brought in the motif through the pillows & napkin treatments which we had custom made.
Amy grew up on the beach in the Oregon coast where there's a lot of driftwood. To pay homage, we brought in grapewood (which has a similar look) elements to line their ceremony aisle and used it on their table centerpieces.
